Laura Lapin - Director At Large 

Laura joined the FDIC in 1991.  While at the FDIC, Laura was fortunate to serve in several divisions and offices: supervision, information technology, compliance and consumer affairs, and diversity and inclusion.  Prior to joining the FDIC, Laura worked as a programmer and data base administrator in private industry.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, a Master of Science Information Systems from George Mason University, and successfully completed Harvard University’s Senior Executive Fellows Program.
