Rodney Ray - Director At Large Rodney was hired as a bankruptcy attorney in the FDIC’s Knoxville Liquidation Office in 1983 as a result of the “Butcher” bank failures. He also worked for the FDIC in Florida before transferring to Washington. After coming to Washington, he worked on “closed bank” matters, related to bankruptcy and receiverships, and “open bank” matters, including deposit insurance assessments and bank activities. He retired after 35 years at the FDIC in 2019. He supports various charitable organizations, including the USO, and is interested in history, art and music. He enjoys spending time in the mountains of his native western North Carolina with his family, hiking and looking for antiques. |
