Our baseball game day this year is Wednesday, September 20th, when the Boston Red Sox square off with the Rangers for a 1:05 afternoon game.  If you want to join us, we’ll meet at Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant at 11:00 for lunch.  (Pappadeaux is located at 1304 East Copeland Road, Arlington 76011.)  If you’d prefer to dine at the stadium and take advantage of Dollar Dog Day, meet us at Pappadeaux at 12:00.  We’ll leave excess vehicles in the Pappadeaux lot and car pool to the stadium  lot, saving $20 parking per car (Pappadeaux is about a mile from the stadium and we can return to Pappadeaux after the game to collect left cars).  Because this is a weekday afternoon game, we’ll simply go to the stadium box office a bit early and buy tickets for everyone who shows up.  That’ll save the expensive handling fees for e-tickets and we’ll get real paper tickets.  Scott Taylor and Alan Rouse will purchase tickets for everyone at the ticket window and collect cash for your tickets.  Exact cost of each ticket won’t be known until time of purchase on game day, but we’ll do our economical best to keep the price per ticket below $30.  Questions?  Send them either to Scott at [email protected] or Alan at [email protected].
